Jake was home sick today but so much better this afternoon that I let him help with the beginnings of the baking! We made a double batch of Chex Mix and 7 layer bars! Yummy! He truely enjoy spending time with mom this afternoon while the little girls napped and Lexi at school.

We have been really slow this year getting the house lights on! We started today! We will finish in the next day or 2!

It is so nice to have the extra space in our new addition that I actually have a place to hang them nicely!

Also, Ted helped with the Angel! But this is not the one we currently have on our tree! She was too tall and tippy. I put on what was my Grandma Grewe's. She looks nice looking over us!

December 3rd! Happy Birthday, Mom Zettel

First and foremost, it is my mother-in-law's birthday.

Here is a shout out to Kathy--HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I began my christmas cards and the girls put on a box of candy canes on the tree. Hopefully tonight I will be able to put another box of decorations up and around the house. I also finish some shopping today while Allison was in preschool. I am feeling really good about what I have done!

This is how Rebecca put on her candy canes, right in a straight line where she can reach them!! Needless to say, mom moved them higher!!!

December 2nd!

The Tree is up but with no decorations on it yet! I told Alexis and Jake that we would wait!! I did get my snow globe collection up and some other decorations put up around the house. I love this time of year!
