Valentine Day for Jake

Today was Jake's Valentine Day's party. They had ice cream sundae's, did some fun worksheets with candy,and open their cards. Tomorrow is Lexi and Allison's!!

The Great Sounds of Music!

Today Lexi had a music performance at school. It was really good. Their teacher is so into music so she makes it fun for the kids. Here is the opening song. Lexi is in the back row (purple and turquoise floral shirt)

A day in Lansing!

Early this morning Ted and I decided to go to Lansing to Menard's to pick up some hangers for the garage. While in Lansing, we had lunch at Steak N Shake and headed towards the capital building. It was a beautiful day to walk around (around 53 degrees with some breeze). Here are some pictures of the kids. These were taken with my phone camera so they are not the best quality. I was bummed that I forgot our digital camera.

Michigan's Capital

Becca, Jake, Alli, and Lexi on the step to the capital. They had them all roped off due to the ice. They are made out of limestone, so we are sure they don't want to use salt on them.

We then went across the street to the Diocease of Lansing (our diocease) and went into the Cathedral. It is an beautiful church. We even saw the Bishop walk into begin confessions. Here are some pictures of the kids on the outside of the church.

Ted's 37th Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Ted! He had to work all day and then came home for dinner and cake. Now we are just relaxing and getting the kids ready for bed. One thing we have done for our birthday's is that that birthday person is "chore free"! So that means the kids loaded his dishes and I have to bathes!

We had a great weekend sledding in West Branch! First is a short video of the kids going down the hill, over a jump, across the driveway, and over the a bank!!

Winter fun!

I love the days that the kids can get outside and play! Here is Becca riding her bike!

Here a winter past time for Jake! He loves to climb the snow piles with his bike! He tried by the side of the road where they are bigger or her on the side of the driveway! He is actually still out! I better call him in since it is getting dark.
