More deliveries!

Chelsea Lumber delivered the 2nd floor lumber and sheeting this AM. This time they brought equipment to unload rather than drop it like the first load.

Eric arrived last night and is doing the little stuff today to get ready for the"big" crew to come and help tomorrow.

Pumpkin Patch

Today was Alli's field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was another perfect day. Cool and Sunny!

SCORE!!

Jake's soccer team did awesome! They are starting to play as a team and work with each other! Jake had 2 assists and his first ever goal. He was so happy and so was Coach John. Coach picked him up and did a "fly by". It was so cute. I didn't get any pictures. I was too far away and it was too dark.

We celebrated with ice cream and toppings. YUMMY!!

Floor joists have been delivered!

Today is a slow day, no work but the floor joists were delivered!! This is a semi parked on our back road trying to squeeze in between the trees and neighbors yard. They are in the way for future deliveries so we will have to move them.

Sunday's Happenings

Today was getting the last wall built and in place. Eric and Dad packed the trailer and took some items back (the backhoe, the trusses, and the some of the siding). Eric will be back later this week to con't the quest!

The Walls!

The first wall is up and more to stand yet today. This is the biggest wall for the garage (west end). It is so hot here (90+) that it has been hard to work. We had a small crew to help (Eric, Ted, Dad Z, Oliver, and Jon) stand the wall up.

First Lumber delivery!

Around 12:15 PM today our first delivery of materials arrived.

I was at the recycling center and followed the truck all the way to our neighborhood so I knew it wouldn't be long! Now Eric and I are going to check it in becasue we know one large item wasn't on this delivery that we were charged for :(

Becca's Footprints

As I was talking to Ted and Eric, we hear this whimper! I turned around to see Becca walking through the fresh concrete!! She got out door in the kitchen and walked bare foot through the cement. She didn't like the feel of it between her piggies!!

Whew! It is done!! The last of the concrete was brought this AM at 7:50!! I bet the neighbor's loved that!! Ted took a few hours off this AM to help and our neighbor Billy stopped by to help. The driveway is complete!!
