My mom, Jake, and I were in the basement looking at some photos on the computer. Lexi and Alli were playing with a 5lb weight. She dropped it just in the right spot on her fingernail. I called the ped and they said to take her to urgent care. So off Ted went, I went to soccer with Jake. They were there for 3 hours. They tried to reattach the nail, but it was completly off. She is wearing a thick pad and splint. We can remove it today and see how it is healing. She will probably wear the splint at school since it is so tender but let it air out at home.
It is always something when there are 4 kids around, a construction mess, and family in town!
